The cybersecurity workforce gap has increased since last year, primarily due to a global surge in hiring demand, according to one study. Using a workforce estimate, there is a global workforce gap of 4.07 million cybersecurity professionals. Also, in the study, 65 percent of organizations represented have a shortage of staff dedicated to cybersecurity.
